Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT, Inc)

The MCT Center for the Performing Arts has bustled with activity since its Grand Opening in October of 1998. It is home to the Internationally-renowned Missoula Children's Theatre, which takes original, musical theatre productions on the road to nearly 1,100 communities around the world every year! During each of these weeklong residencies, 50-60 local children from Absarokee, Montana to Ansbach, Germany and from Malta, Montana to Mifune, Japan are the stars when 'Missoula' comes to town. MCT also has year-round opportunities for Missoula-area youth to be on stage through performing arts classes and day camps. In addition to all this, hundreds of children from around the U.S., Canada and beyond audition and participate in the summer MCT Performing Arts Camps at Flathead Lake and Seeley Lake annually.

The MCT Community Theatre offers a full-season of high-quality, family entertainment between October and June, featuring local talent and occasional guest artists. With a wide-variety of audience favorites such as Forever Plaid, treasured musicals like Mame and critically-acclaimed poignant stories such as The Miracle Worker, MCT audiences keep coming back for more! Annual season subscriptions are available offering preferred seating and ticket discounts to patrons.

Other MCT offerings include 'MCT's Bits & Pieces', a cabaret music/comedy group that is ready to entertain your company party or convention. From Broadway show tunes to hilarious audience participation numbers - they can tailor a show to your needs!

The MCT Center for the Performing Arts also has 22,000 square feet of accessible and affordable space to rent for weddings, press conferences, conventions and performances, and has become known as Missoula's 'unofficial' civic center. MCT also manages Camp Paxson on the shores of Seeley Lake, which is a 15-acre property owned by the U.S. Forest Service and is perfect for corporate trainings, seasonal weddings, family reunions and other use.
