Wildlife Refuges
Visitors seeking a view of wildlife in their natural habitat will be rewarded at Montana's Wildlife Refuges.
Our refuges are part of a national network of public lands set aside for the conservation of fish, wildlife, and plants. Most refuges provide self-guided opportunities for photography, wildlife viewing, scenic vistas, primitive camping, hiking and other outdoor activities year round. Hunting and fishing are also popular in season. Or visit one of Montana's outstanding wildlife centers.
