Monture Campground is at an elevation of 4,100 feet. It has 6 campsites. Handicap accessible vault toilet and picnic tables are available but no drinking water. This area is 8 miles from gas and groceries. The campground is located along Monture Creek and adjacent to Monture trailhead. Fishing. 16 miles by trail to Bob Marshall Wilderness and 11 miles to Scapegoat Wilderness. Public stock facilities. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
Monture Campground is 7 miles north of Ovando on Monture Road 89. From Clearwater Junction, travel east on Highway 200 for 12.5 miles. Turn north on Monture Road 89 and go 7.5 miles. This is a good gravel road.
