About North Van Houten Campground is a small high elevation campground surrounded by lodgepole pine near Van Houten Lake in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. This lakeside campground has 5 sites available on a first come, first served basis. There is a 16 day stay limit at this campground. This campground can accommodate trailers up to 20 feet long. This is a pack in/pack out campground with fire rings, water, handicap accessbile vault toilets, picnic tables and pets are allowed if kept on leash.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS From Jackson, Montana travel 1.5 miles south on Highway 278. Take Forest Road 181 for 10.5 miles to the campground.
