Chalets

Montana is home to many charming chalets. Like their European predecessors Montana chalets are often quaint and secluded but have within all the comforts of home including fireplaces, laundry facilities, TVs and modern kitchen appliances. Amenities at many sites include recreational access to horseback riding, hiking, fishing, cross-country and downhill skiing.

Two of Montana’s premier chalets are Sperry and Granite Park located in Glacier National Park. These chalets were built around the turn of the century by the Great Northern Railroad and are designated National Historic Landmarks.
