This northeastern Montana attraction, built in 1934-40 during the height of the Great Depression, is one of the largest dams in the nation and impounds the Missouri River to form Fort Peck Lake Today, the massive reservoir with 1,500 miles of shoreline is a haven for campers, water skiers, walleye fisher folks and wildlife viewers. |
