Hardin is situated on the banks of the Bighorn River and the edge of the Crow Indian Reservation. The Bighorn Canyon and Dam allow a majestic view of the water below. The reservation offers two mountain ranges, the rugged Pryor and Bighorn Mountains, with rolling hills and semi-arid plains surrounding the peaks. The town is surrounded by productive ranches and farms, including the largest wheat farm in the world. Coal mining has also contributed greatly to the local economy.
Grab your flannel and get ready for a fun-filled fall evening at the Fur & Flannel Fall Festival! This family-friendly community event will have something for everyone, with activities beginning at 6:00 PM.
Browse local vendors, enjoy dinner from a food truck, and join in on a variety of kids' and adult games. Test your skills in boot races, three-legged races, stick horse races, and more! Beer and wine will also be available for purchase for those 21 and older.
At 8:00 PM, the Wyoming Saddle Tramps Band will take the stage for an evening of live music and dancing. The fun continues until midnight!
There will also be some unique activities throughout the evening, including the Kennel Me Up Jail and Love Leaves Paw Print Luminaries, giving everyone a chance to join in the fun while supporting a great cause.
