About Kiwanis Park, surrounded by shady cottonwood trees is a perfect place to host family reunions, BBQ's and other large or small events. The park is conveniently located in front of the Downstream Campground, within walking distance to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center. The recreational area offers picnic shelters, flush bathrooms and vault toilets, and grills. The park also has many recreational activities available, such as a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, playgrounds and fishing ponds. The park also connects to the nature trail, a 3.34 mile paved trail that connects to the Interpretive Center and the Downstream Campground which provides viewing of birds and other wildlife.
