About We welcome you to come experience the Gibson Mansion designed in 1903 by A.J. Gibson. Gibson came to the Missoula area in his late teens to pursue his dream to be an architect. He is known for many historical structures in the area including the University of Montana's Main Hall, Missoula County courthouse, and the Daly Mansion in nearby Hamilton. In 1979 Gibson Mansion was relocated to its current address and since then has been restored to the 1900's atmosphere. All four guest rooms have iron beds with high quality linens, oak armoires, and period decor. They also feature in-room Satellite TV, private baths, wireless DSL, and air conditioning for your comfort and convenience. Exquisite original antique leaded stained glass windows and original hard wood floors welcome you upon entry. Teas and coffee are available round the clock. The library may intrigue your mind with a good book, a chance to catch up on current news in the Missoulian, game of chess, or just interesting conversation. Highlighting the Parlor is the ornate cast iron fireplace and large leaded, beveled glass window. Here you can relax by the fire or soak in the southern sun rays, a pleasure any time of the year. The grand oak staircase with original stained glass windows, invites you up to your private quarters where blended beauty, comfort, and cleanliness are the perfect formula for rest and relaxation. Guests may use veranda and expansive flower gardens with gazebo to enjoy mountain views and morning coffee or as a shady retreat on the warm summer afternoons. We serve a delicious 'wreck your diet' breakfast in our spacious dining room. Guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. As an added touch of pampering our guests will find a morning coffee tray with fresh baked scones outside their bedroom door before breakfast. Upon request we cater to our master suite by offering BREAKFAST IN BED.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Gibson Mansion is conveniently located less than two miles from the University of Montana, historic museums, live theaters, city center shopping, and the historical Missoula downtown area. Take Reserve Street Exit, turn south on Reserve Street, continue until Reserve Street dead ends at 39th Street (about 6 1/2 miles). Turn left and continue to third stop light. Turn right on High Park and take first right (39th Street again). Gibson Mansion is at the end of the cul-de-sac.
