About
Most of the lower reaches of Libby Creek lie along private land and have been extensively altered through mining operations. Some of the upper reaches of the stream have quality pools and the stream banks are very bushy in areas. Rainbow trout 5 to 14 inches may be caught t in Libby Creek. Fishing pressure is generally light. Howard Lake, Libby Lake Trailhead and easily accessible streams in the area, offer other recreational opportunities.
