About The Mountain Spirit Inn is a wonderful little motel in downtown Darby, which is at the southern end of the Bitterroot Valley. Walking distance to restaurants, saloons/casinos, and the Darby Clubhouse. Guest rooms are unique room and some allow pets. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Across the street from the huge American flag and veterans' memorial on Main Street in downtown Darby. 65 miles south of Missoula, Darby is approximately 32 miles north of the Idaho border, which is right at the Continental Divide on Highway 93. Traveling from the south from Hwy 43 from Wisdom or driving from the Salmon, ID, go north on Hwy 93, approximately 31 miles. Just as you enter Darby, the Mountain Spirit Inn will be on your right.
