About Camp 32 Campground is located in Kootenai National Forest at an elevation of 2755 feet. There are 8 campsites with tables, fire rings. Accomodating up to a 20' RV. Amenities include potable water, vault toilets and a large open field. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. This is an excellent campground for those seeking nature and solitude. Nestled among tall fir trees and adjacent to a small mountain meadow, this site is a favorite of those who have discovered its charms. Fishing access, Pinkham Creek; hiking nearby. Close to 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa (KOOtenai/CANada/USA--coo/can/oosa) and Lake Koocanusa Bridge, the longest and tallest bridge in Montana. Please limit your stay to 14 days. No camping fee. Camp 32 was a logging camp established in 1924 by the Bonners Ferry Lumber Company and operated for approximately 2 years. The land was acquired from early homesteader, Margaret Durall. The site included several out buildings. A company store and several small cabins.

SEASON All Year, access is dependent on weather conditions.
SPECIAL DIRECTIONS From Rexford, travel 7 miles south on State Highway 37. Turn east onto Rondo Road 7182 and follow for 2.5 miles to the site. Narrow graded dirt road. May be impassable in winter and early spring due to road conditions.
