About
Great Falls Creek Trail (18) starts just below 2-Mile Bridge on the west side of Main Boulder Road. The trail ascends a number of switch-backs to scenic West Boulder Plateau. From the Plateau the trail drops down Falls Creek to the West Boulder. Narrow and rocky in spots, elevation range of 5,000 feet. Length: 10.0 miles. Wilderness, moderate difficulty, medium use. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
Great Falls Creek Trail is located 25 miles south of Big Timber on US Highway 298, then 5.5 miles south on County Road 212. Access may be limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.
