Overview Service & Activities
About The Route of the Olympian on the Superior Ranger District is a unique travel management and recreation project on approximately 30 miles of abandoned railroad grades (Milwaukee and Northern Pacific) between Taft and St. Regis, Montana providing both motorized and non-motorized recreation. Route of the Olympian into Montana remains a work in progress. While parts of it are already popular with trail riders, the dramatic Dominion Tunnel and Trestle sections at the western end are still under repair.
