About Length: 6.1 miles Trailhead: The signed parking lot for Uncle Tom’s is on the South Rim Drive, east of Chittenden Bridge located south of Canyon Village. The trailhead is found along the eastern edge of the parking lot and heads towards the road. This loop connects two small lakes along the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This relatively level trail winds through meadows and forest to the emerald green colored Clear Lake. After a stretch of hydrothermal area, continue straight at the trail junction towards the lily pad covered Ribbon Lake. Head back the way your came, but take a right at the junction past Lilly Pad Lake, Artist Point, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and back to your car.
