The course was built by the Great Northern Railway in 1928 and named " Oom-coo-ska-pes-che" or Big Green Blanket by Chief Earl Old Person. The Glacier Park Lodge Golf Course is the oldest grass greens golf course in Montana and resides within the boundary of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. All 9 holes are named after former chiefs of the Blackfeet Nation. Come and enjoy the magnificent views, undulating greens, wide fairways, and the friendly staff. The course is open late May-September (weather permitting).

Surround yourself in epic beauty on every turn as you golf this spectacular course bordering Glacier National Park. This nine-hole, long-par 36 course covers 3,600 yards from the men's tees. Club and cart rentals available.

Special Directions

Glacier Park Lodge is located in the small town of East Glacier Park, MT at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 49. From Highway 2, turn and go under the white and multicolor railroad overpass onto Highway 49 north. Proceed approximately 0.1 miles and turn left into Glacier Park Lodge. The front desk is ahead to your left and up the small hill to the lodge.
