About The Ranch at Rock Creek is the world's only Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star ranch resort. The Ranch has been a member of Relais & Chateaux since 2012 and became a founding member of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World in 2015. Situated on 6,600 acres of rugged Montana ranchland and wilderness in Western Montana’s Gold Country, The Ranch at Rock Creek features rustic, yet elegant accommodations, including bespoke lodge rooms, historic barn suites, private log homes and luxury canvas cabins that deliver the definitive Montana “glamping” experience on the banks of Blue Ribbon-designated trout stream Rock Creek. As part of its all-inclusive designation, this historic homestead-turned-guest ranch provides twice-daily guided outdoor adventures, including fly fishing, horseback riding, archery, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing and shooting ranges. Come winter, guests enjoy on-property cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, and all-terrain vehicle adventures, as well as concierge-led excursions to nearby Discovery Ski Area, a quaint alpine ski destination. Executive Chef Josh Drage prepares farm-to-table cuisine, sourced primarily from Montana and regional purveyors. All meals and beverages, including premium wine, beer and spirits are included. The Silver Dollar Saloon is equal parts cowboy saloon and luxe club, providing artisan cocktails, local craft beer, billiards, a bowling alley, private movie theater and more. The property features an award-winning spa and extensive yoga and outdoor wellness program, as well as a 5,300 square-foot event barn—the venue for seasonal celebrations, live musical performances, weddings and barn dances. During the warmer months, The Ranch produces a weekly rodeo in the Roosevelt Arena.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS The most convenient commercial airport with the best flight availability is Missoula International Airport (MSO), a short 1.5-hour drive to The Ranch. Other commercial airports within a reasonable distance include: Butte Bert Mooney (BTM): 1.25 hour drive Helena Regional Airport (HLN): 2 hour drive Bozeman Yellowstone Int’l Airport (BZN): 2.5 hour drive If you are traveling by private aircraft, you have the option of traveling in and out of the following airstrips, in addition to the above mentioned airports: Bowman Field Airport in Anaconda (3U3): 45-minute drive Riddick Field in Philipsburg (U05): 25-minute drive Helicopter travel between The Ranch and regional locations can be arranged through The Ranch’s transportation partners. During our summer season, carriers such as Delta and United add direct flights from major cities to Missoula and Bozeman. A private Ranch vehicle and driver are available to provide round-trip guest ground transportation from the airport to our location. Roundtrip ground transportation to and from Missoula, Butte and Anaconda airports is included in the all-inclusive nightly rate, with ground transfers to and from Helena and Bozeman available at $250 per vehicle. Maximum capacity per car is seven guests.
