About St. Mary Lodge and Resort is an upscale full-service lodge situated just outside Glacier National Park’s east entrance in St. Mary, Montana. With 115 guest rooms spread among six facilities, the property features accommodations ranging from luxury lodge rooms and suites to rustic and relaxing cottages and motel rooms. Long known for its food, St. Mary's offers two eating establishments; Curly Bear Cafe and the famous Snowgoose Grille, which features regional items such as Montana buffalo, fresh fish, incredible prime rib, and huckleberry specialties. Shopping at St. Mary is a treat. Trail and Creek Outfitters is the only outdoor specialty shop at the east side of Glacier National Park featuring an extensive selection of apparel, hiking gear, and fishing gear. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS St. Mary Lodge and Resort is located at the intersection of Highway 89 and the spectacular Going-To-The-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. The resort is easily accessible from all directions. From the North, St. Mary is located 16 miles south of the Canadian border on Highway 89. Coming from the West, take the famous Going-To-The-Sun Road (St. Mary is at the east end of the road), or follow Highway 2 around the south end of the park to the town of Browning. At Browning, follow signs to Highway 89. St. Mary is located approximately 35 miles from Browning on Highway 89. From the east, take Highway 2 to Browning, then continue north on Highway 89 to St. Mary.
