You can walk to the park next door, the grocery across the street, the marina or kayak rentals just yards away along with the many shops and restaurants in the center of town. The quaint town of lakeside has everything you need to stock the shelves, as well as great restaurants, breweries, and shopping. The area offers endless activities! At this lakeside lakefront retreat you will enjoy spectacular views overlooking beautiful 15 mile wide Flathead lake and the mountain ranges on our private, prime lakefront frontage with two docks. During the spring and fall the temperatures are warm during the day, 50-60 degrees, and “jacket temperature” cool, 30 – 40 degrees at night. The spring seems as though 'green' is everywhere and the fall, when the tamaracks start to turn yellow, is just gorgeous. During both times of year there is a quieter and more relaxing feeling in the air. No matter what time of year – Montana is always worth the trip. Summer is when Montana is in high gear, the energy is contagious, the water of the lakes and streams take on a refreshing charm and invite you to surround yourself in their clean, cold, and invigorating essence. All the area’s activities are at their peak and the Flathead valley is busting at the seams with fun. Montana is alive and you can feel it everywhere – great time to be here. As well as being right in the center of everything that Lakeside has to offer you are also within close proximity to all that the Flathead valley and beyond has to offer with fine dining, great shopping, fun nightlife, white water rafting, kayaking, zip lining, golfing, horseback riding, hiking, fishing and boating in the summer. If your preference is the arts and shopping, then head over to Bigfork to take in their many galleries and gift shops. You can also enjoy several live performances there at their playhouse that runs throughout the summer months. Let’s not forget the “crown of the continent” – Glacier National Park. Just a short and very scenic hour drive away “the park” is a must see - and don’t forget your hiking shoes or your camera – everyone is a photographer when you get into the park – once the beauty of the mountains and the glaciers surround you, you will see that it is nearly impossible to take a bad picture. As a blanket of snow covers the valley - the valley is alive with a crisp clear sense of beauty. This property has it all - a main 1440 square foot 3 bedroom lakefront home with stunning views of the lake and mountains. This home has a back deck to lounge on and take it all in. There are also 2 additional cabins on the property. Cabin #1 is 2 bedrooms and 1,050 square feet. Cabin #2 is 800 square feet and one bedroom. This is a very unique property that is 2 acres with room for additional tents or motor coach (no hook-up) and it's right in the center of town.
