Harrison is located at the foot of the Tobacco Root Mountains and only a short distance from Lewis and Clark Caverns, which feature one of the largest known limestone caverns in the Northwest. Norris Hot Springs, and the historic mining town of Pony are a short drive from Harrison. There's also hiking and camping at Hollow Top Mountain and throughout the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest as well as fishing and boating on Harrison Lake.
