About This Ranger Station is located just 22 miles south of the US/Canada border at an elevation of 3,000 feet. It is encompassed within the Tobacco Valley, along with the small communities of Eureka, Fortine, Murphy Lake, and Trego. The Ten Lakes Scenic Area is located in the northeastern portion of the District and offers numerous trails for a quality hiking experience.
