About Alpacas of Montana is a fully vertically integrated alpaca farm, creating sustainably minded clothing from nature's best natural fiber. We developed a patented yarn called Dry Fusion Technology® that is used in all of our products to produce custom made, high quality, and antimicrobial clothing. We also use high performing recycled and up-cycled alpaca fibers. We care for 60+ alpacas and seven llamas on our farm and have 20+ years of experience raising and breeding our amazing animals. We offer daily farm tours throughout the summer and have a small retail boutique on the property. Our private 45min tours are personalized, just for you! You'll get to feed them their favorite treats, learn how to catch and halter them for walks, help give them a bath on warm days, and, depending on the time of year, visit with our alpaca moms and crias (babies)!

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Travelling East: From I-90, take the Belgrade exit 298. Turn left onto Amsterdam Road and continue East to intersection and Flying J gas station. Turn right on Hwy 85 South / Jackrabbit Lane. Travel 6.6 miles. At a stoplight, turn left towards Bozeman onto Hwy 191 / Huffine Lane. Travel 3.9 miles. At second stoplight, turn right onto Hwy 345 / Cottonwood Road. Travel 3.2 miles and we are on the right / west side. Travelling West: From I-90, take Bozeman exit 305 (19th Ave.). Turn left onto 19th Avenue and travel approximately 6 miles into and out of town. You will pass MSU and start getting back into farmland. Turn right onto Patterson Road. Travel 2 miles to Cottonwood RD. Turn left and we are on the right side of the road.
