About ONly access to Coulter Campground is by boat or Trail #257. Docks are available for private boats. Fishing, swimming, and hiking along the scenic trails in the area are also popular activities. Restrooms are available. Day use and overnight camping. 7 Campsites, pets are allowed if on a leash. Please limit stay to 14 days. No camping fee.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS The Coulter Campground is 1 mile south of Meriwether Picnic Area and is accessible by private boat, tour boat from the Gates of the Mountains Boat Club on Holter Lake. To get to Holter Lake travel north of Helena on I-15 approximately 15 miles to the Gates exit, then east approximately 3 miles.
