About Length: 6.5 miles Trailhead: The signed trailhead for Fairy Falls is located on the Grand Loop Road between Midway Geyser Basin and Old Faithful. The trail crosses the Firehole River on the old freight road then follows along the edge of Midway Geyer Basin. Travel through lodgepole pines to the slender, delicate waterfall. Continue on past the Pray Geyser to the Imperial Geyser then turn around. For an additional 2.9 mile hike take a left to the Imperial Meadows loop, then meet back up with the freight road. (This is a Bear Management Area, which means that the trail is closed until the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.)
