About Formerly Montana River Outfitters of Wolf Creek, Wolf Creek Angler, LLC opened its doors in 2014 with new owners, new ideas and new energy while maintaining what long time customers had come to love about MRO - exceptional customer service and the best lodging value in the area. We are a full service fly shop offering guide trips, shuttle service, drift boat rentals, expert advice and everything you need for success on the world-famous Missouri River. Our fly shop caters almost exclusively to the Missouri River angler and boasts a great selection of the flies and gear you can't do without. Our guide staff is without equal when it comes to experience on the Missouri River with our head guides Neale Streeks and Brian Scott having each guided the "MO" for over 30 years. We feel our entire staff is truly the best of the best when it comes to making your Missouri River fly fishing experience one you won't soon forget. Our lodging has long had a reputation of being a great value when it comes to Missouri River accommodations. From cabins to motel rooms to bungalow style rooms, with 11 units to choose from chances are we have something that will suit your needs. Located just two and a half miles from the Missouri River, Wolf Creek Angler is closer to the Holter Dam and Wolf Creek Bridge access sights than anyone. Made famous as the home of Jessie Burns in Norman Maclean's novel "A River Runs Through It", Wolf Creek is filled with Montana history and we at Wolf Creek Angler are proud to be a part of this quaint community. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Our shop and lodging are located right off of I-15 on Recreation Road, about two and a half miles from the Missouri River. After exiting I-15 at the Wolf Creek Exit, proceed East about 100 yards, crossing Little Prickly Pear Creek and the railroad tracks. When you come to a T in the road turn right and continue on Recreation Road for about 300 yards. Our cabins, motel and fly shop are clearly signed and visible on the east side of the road.
