About Welcome to Heron's Roost! Enjoy our cozy log cabin overlooking the beautiful Kootenai River in Northwest Montana. Our cabin is located 13.5 miles East of Libby, MT and is 3 miles below the Koocanusa Reservoir. Whether it's fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, swimming, gold panning or just relaxing by the river, you'll find everything you desire for a wonderful experience. The cabin is 'turnkey' the loft sleeps two, a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, books, games, DVDs and wireless internet. There is a covered deck to watch the abundant wildlife, a propane grill for barbequeing, a nearby boat launch and fishing access to the Kootenai River. Full service dining at Libby's famous River Bend Restaurant is within walking distance.

From Eureka take Highway 37 for approximately 50 miles (just past the Kootenai River bridge). Take a right onto the FDR 228 Road for .3 miles. Heron's Roost cabin is on the left.
