About Glendive Short Pines Open OHV (Off-Highway Vehicles) Area consists of approximately 2,800 acres. As you enter, the graveled parking area and vault toilets are on the west side of the road. An interpretive sign provides a map and rules for the area. OHV trails, rock hounding, wildlife viewing and camping are available at this site. There are no designated camping spots or water available. However, camping is allowed. This is a "Pack In, Pack Out" area and all garbage must be removed. No fireworks are allowed. Be mindful of seasonal and area fire restrictions. Be courteous to other riders and users in the area. Please call the Miles City Field Office for current recreation site conditions and restrictions that may be in place.
