About Pioneer Mountain Cabins offers 4 individual cabins with complete privacy and quiet. Each cabin is nicely appointed and has a private bathroom with tub and shower, refrigerator, microwave, Satellite TV, air conditioning and coffee service. Two cabins have 2 queen size beds in separate rooms, the other cabins have 2 twin beds in one room and a queen bed in the other room. The cabins are located on the south end of Melrose. Only 2/10ths of mile walking distance to the River and the Salmon Fly Fishing Access. We are also in close proximity to several creeks for fishing. The mountains are close; offering the ghost towns of Glendale and Hecla. There is also 4-wheeling, hiking and big game hunting. Guide service is available for the Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Pioneer Mountain Cabins is located 1/4 mile off Exit 93, Interstate 15. Address is 46 Trapper Creek Road, directly west of Interstate 15 on Frontage Road. We are also 32 miles south of Butte and 29 miles north of Dillon. Office is located at the Melrose Bar & Cafe at 120 Main Street in Melrose.
