About Set atop Big Mountain at nearly 7,000 feet above sea level, the Summit House is certainly the highest restaurant in northwest Montana. Some of the best views of Glacier National Park and the surrounding area are experienced from the windows of the restaurant and bar. At the top of everything, the Summit House Restaurant is a good place to take a breather before heading down the mountain, having lunch together as a group, or simply enjoying a drink at the Summit Bar. The Summit House also hosts fine dining and other events such as the Dine and Ski, Mountain Meetings, Moonlight Dine and Ski and dozens of weddings every summer overlooking the 'Crown of the Continent.' Good for ski-in/ski-out lunches, meetings and events, wedding events, casual breaks during an active day on the mountain.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS The Summit House Restaurant is located on top of the world at The Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort. Eight miles from the town of Whitefish, The Big Mountain's Summit House is accessible by gondola to chair lift during the summer and winter seasons from the base area.
