About
Fresno Tailwater is a state fishing access site located at Fresno Reservoir. Created by a dam on the Milk River, Fresno Reservoir is about 10 miles west of Havre. The reservoir is used for irrigation, so the water level can fluctuate. Although this is a day use only site, camping is available on Bureau of Reclamation administered land adjacent to this site. A boat launch and toilets are available. Open all season. Fresno Reservoir has 7,388 surface acres and 65 miles of shoreline, offers good fishing opportunity for walleye, northern pike, and perch. Concrete boat ramp, picnic shelters, and swimming beach.
