About Welcome to Dancing Spirit Ranch, A family owned boutique retreat center and vacation rental. This historical property, located in the incredible beauty of Northwest Montana, is home to a nature sanctuary and a small compound of buildings that offer guests a wide variety of activities and gathering areas. The 100-year-old restored Barn houses a commercial kitchen, large dining room, library and cozy fireside sitting area. The Schoolhouse is an ideal location for many types of workshops and events. The rustic seven-bedroom Bunkhouse has an Old West feel coupled with plush mattresses and warm Pendleton blankets. The Little White House is a charming one-bedroom cottage that borders the 14-acre pond with vistas straight into the mountains. Whether you’re seeking adventure or solitude, this quaint village area is the perfect home base for all of your Montana pursuits. With more than 150 acres of Montana’s legendary wonderland to explore, the grounds have over 5 miles of walking trails, ponds to kayak on, and gardens to explore. There are beautifully crafted standing stone sites on the property that draw inspiration from around the world. The owners of this property have created a peaceful oasis that consciously blends the creations of man and nature. The native grasses and trees planted have become home to many wild animals that can be spotted daily grazing the fields and roaming the sky. The intention behind Dancing Spirit Ranch is to provide guests with a laidback yet luxurious retreat in nature where one can simply reconnect with the stillness and splendor of the elements around them. From onsite massage to meditation huts, one can find exactly what they need to unplug. And, of course, Dancing Spirit Ranch is in the middle of northwest Montana’s legendary, recreational wonderland. Located 6 miles southeast of Whitefish, which was just named Montana's most beautiful town, we are a short drive from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and many pristine lakes that are woven between beautiful rivers and streams. Hiking, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, mountain biking, golf and skiing are just a few of the adventures that can be arranged. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Coming from Highway 40: Turn South onto Conn Rd. Continue driving until the road turns left and continue left (east) The road will transition to gravel Dancing Spirit Ranch will be your second right, which is at the bottom of the steep hill There will be a gated entrance with two rock columns on each side. After passing through the gate, continue down the gravel driveway for about a half mile until you reach the marked parking lot YOU’RE HERE! Coming from Highway 2: Turn West onto Conn Rd. Continue driving past the Trumble Creek Rd intersection (you should see the rock arches on your left) Dancing Spirit Ranch will be the first left after passing the intersection, at the bottom of a big hill There will be a gated entrance with two rock columns on each side. After passing through the gate, continue down the gravel driveway for about a half mile until you reach the marked parking lot YOU’RE HERE!
