About
The East Fork Guard Station features a 16' x 24' one room log cabin. The cabin is equipped with a wood burning stove for heating, firewood that will need to be split (axe provided) and a four-burner propane stove/oven for cooking (propane provided). The kitchen is furnished with dishes, utensils, cooking pots/pans and a Coleman cooler for refrigeration. There are two large bunkbeds - please bring your own bedding like an air mattress as only foam pads are provided. Additional amenities include an outside vault toilet, potable water at pump house.
An open fire pit with benches is set up on the banks of the East Fork River, perfect for evening marshmallow roasts. Pack it in - Pack it out. For further information contact the Sula Ranger District.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
Travel 1 mile north of the Sula Ranger Station on US Highway 93, then 15 miles east on the East Fork (County Road) Road 472. During the winter, the last 0.75 mile is unplowed and access is by ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile.
