About
Twogood Cabin is a rustic cabin located on Porcupine Creek. The cabin measures 15x19 feet with a concrete floor and covered porch. The cabin is one room with two bunk beds, a table and chairs for four, a counter with cupboards, and a propane two burner stove. There is a wood stove for heat, firewood is provided. Pots, pans, plates and utensils are provided. You will need to provide your own bedding and towels. There are lanterns for light, but you will need to bring your own propane canisters, which you will also need for the propane cook stove. Porcupine Creek is the sole source of drinking water for you and your stock. It is recommended to use a water purifier or boil the water before drinking as beaver ponds can be found upstream of the cabin. An outdoor toilet serves the cabin, bring your own toilet paper. Two hitch rails for stock are located within sight of the cabin and will accommodate up to 12 head of stock. Grazing within one mile of the cabin is prohibited. Feed for stock must be certified weed free.
Call the Sula Ranger Station at (406)821-3201 one week ahead of your arrival for the current lock combination and for road, trail, and weather conditions.
