About Schumaker Campground is located very close to the boundary of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness at an elevation of 6,500 feet. It overlooks Twin Lakes with swimming and fishing access. Water levels may drop in late summer as irrigation water for the valley is taken from the lake. Non-motorized boating permitted. There are 16 campsites. Maximum trailer size is 55 feet. Handicap accessible vault toilets, fire pits and picnic tables available. This is a pack in/pack out facility. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

SEASON 7/15 - 9/15

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Travel 7 miles north of Darby on US Highway 93, then west 18 miles on Lost Horse Road/Forest Service Road 429. Forest Service Road 429 is mostly rough to travel due to many potholes and rocks. Recommend high clearance vehicles.
