Big Creek Trail (248) parallels the east side of the creek and then crosses to the west and continues for another 150 feet to the base of the falls. The 50-foot waterfall is the primary attraction on this trail. The trail and bridge were recently reconstructed. There are no campsites or picnic areas along this route. Length: 0.5 miles. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
From Highway 37, cross Koocanusa Bridge and proceed South on FDR 228 for 8 miles to Junction with Big Creek Road 336. Turn and follow 0.9 mile to the trailhead.
