Copper Creek Trail (15) begins 3 miles south of Box Canyon off the Independence Road. The trail is an old sheep driveway that follows Copper Creek to the junction with Sheep Creek Trail 127, just below Hellroaring Divide. Length: 3.9 miles. Wilderness, moderate difficulty, medium use. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
Cooper Creek-Hellroaring Trail is located 25 miles south of Big Timber on US Highway 298, then 26 miles south on County Road 212. Access is limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.
