About Distance: 3.2 miles - heavy use Trailhead: Trail Junction 339 Trail Ends: Trail Junction 316 Deep Creek Ridge Trail (338) is part of the Deep Creek Figure 8 Loop National Recreations Trail. This trail is good for a three to four day trip into Deep Creek area. The recommended season is late spring to late autumn. From the road to the trailhead you will need a 4x4 vehicle or other high clearance vehicle. There is ample parking at trailhead. Open to ATVs and motorcycles. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Travel 1.6 miles west on Forest Road 268 from junction of Forest Roads 839 and 269 to Trail 339. The trailhead is ROG route location 56.
