About Length: 18 miles marked and groomed trails. Trail Begins: 3000' on Pete Creek Road Trail Ends: 6000' on Pete Creek Road 33 Pete Creek Winter Recreation Trail offers many open areas and excellent views of the Canadian Rockies and Northwest Peaks, which border Idaho. It follows Pete Creek and crosses the West Fork of the Yaak River. Intermittently groomed by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Lincoln County Sno Cats Snowmobile Club, this route is a good run and accesses numerous play areas. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Follow Yaak Hwy 508 for approximately 26.8 miles, turn left on Pete Creek Road 338. Plowed parking is available at the turnoff.
