From Philpsburg go north on Highway 1 for 10.1 miles to Maxville, then south on the Boulder Creek Road 676 for 1.7 miles, then south on the Wyman Gulch Road 677 for 0.8 mile, then south on the South Boulder Road 1503 for 1.1 miles to trailhead.
