About
Tomato Can Trail (156) starts at the junction with Lower Deer Creek Trail 5. It travels west up Tomato Can Gulch across Iron Mountain Road 482 to Red Mountain and terminates at Cherry Creek Road 206. The trail is difficult to find in certain sections. Used primarily during the hunting season and grazing season. Length: 6 miles. Poor to fair conditions, moderate difficulty, low use. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS
Tomato Can Trail is located 11 miles south of Big Timber on US Highway 298, then 2.5 miles south on Cherry Creek Road. Access may be limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.
