Overview Service & Activities
About Rich Ranch Outfitters is a second-generation family business and have been in the same location offering fair-chase hunts on public land for over 50 hunting seasons. We run a top-notch operation and work hard to give you a safe and enjoyable hunt while striving to be a role-model of ethical hunting. We offer 2 types of combination trips for rifle hunting for elk, mule deer and whitetail: Pack-in Tent Camp Hunt on Horseback (Bob Marshall Wilderness) and Lodge-based Hunt on Horseback (Lolo National Forest). Enjoy world-class fishing for native cutthroat on the South Fork Flathead River and it’s tributaries! Alpine lakes, glacial streams, and the main rivers offer a wide opportunity for novice and expert alike. With an abundance of trout lying in wait in the cold, clear waters, it is truly a fly fisherman’s paradise. Fishermen who stay at the guest ranch can test their skill on cutthroats, rainbows and brown trout in the legendary waters of the Big Blackfoot River – made famous in the movie “A River Runs Through It”. Snowmobile The Rocky Mountains! Discover the scenic backwoods of the Montana Rockies with our experienced guides! Use one of our ranch machines or bring you own! A full service vacation that includes all meals, lodging, use of ranch amenities, and guide service to 1500+ miles of groomed, secondary, and mountain snowmobile trails from your cabin door. There is also ample opportunity for you to enjoy “off trail ” play areas.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS The Rich Ranch is located in the Blackfoot/Clearwater Valley of western Montana. You will find the ranch in the Woodworth Meadows twelve miles south of Seeley Lake off Highway 83 on Woodworth and Cottonwood Lakes Road. Because we are "off the beaten path" call ahead and we will be happy to give you driving directions to the ranch. CAUTION: Be wary of GPS directions, for they have been known to take some of our guests into the middle of nowhere.
