About
A group picnic area is available for reservation at South Dickey. If the group site is not reserved, it can be used on a first come first serve basis. The large grassy area is not part of the reservation but can be used by all and commonly referred to as the beach. It is adjacent to the water with a narrow bit of sand and rock 'beach' in between.
The group picnic area can accommodate up to 50 people and is equipped with two tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilets and potable drinking water are also provided. The swimming beach is available for use, but is open to the public as well. The facility is a day use area, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Overnight camping is not allowed. Visitors who wish to stay overnight can make reservations at North Dickey Lake Campground.
Pets are not allowed on the grassy area, beach or buoyed swim area. See bulletin board at site to see where leashed pets are allowed.
