About
Havre Has It-a rich and diverse history like none other in Montana! The people who settled in Havre and Hill County came from many different backgrounds, from Native American tribes who have lived here for thousands of years, fellow Americans coming to this area for new opportunities, and immigrants seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Their work, beliefs and civic values all helped build the largest community on Montana’s famed Hi-Line.
Havre Historic Tours and More showcases those efforts through guided and online video tours, DVDs and books. Havre and Hill County’s history is Miss Emily Mayer’s calling in life, and she is dedicated to researching, interpreting and sharing that information with you. From businesses and government buildings, to residential homes and final resting places, Miss Emily’s passion for this area’s history shines through in a way that will keep you wanting more!
Live guided tours are offered by appointment only, weather permitting. Miss Emily’s tours are also available to view online on Vimeo at any time-if you have internet access, you can stream her videos from the comfort of your home, lodging facility or wherever you are! If you like what you see, DVD options are available on her online store. Her local history books are also available for sale.
