Three Days in Red Lodge

Discover one of America’s best ski towns.

Day 1

Explore Red Lodge

Check in at the historic Pollard Hotel in idyllic downtown Red Lodge, home to Red Lodge Ales brewery, numerous bars, shops and restaurants, and true Western hospitality just a stone’s throw from Red Lodge Mountain. Grab a craft cocktail and dinner at Marli’s, right on-site at the Pollard. Then, pull up a barstool at any downtown Red Lodge bar or pub—take your pick—and rub elbows with the locals.

Day 2

Ski at Red Lodge Mountain

Fuel up for the day’s adventures at Café Regis with good coffee and a hearty breakfast in mind. Then it’s time to hit the slopes. 1600+ acres and 71 runs spread across two mountains, provide a variety of terrain, including steeps, glades, chutes, groomers and gentle cruisers for all skill levels. For lunch, take the Willow Creek chairlift to the Midway Chalet and enjoy jaw-dropping views of five mountain ranges. Head to the base of the mountain to Bierstube for après, where you’ll find pub fare, live music and 10 beers on tap. For dinner, venture to Carbon County Steakhouse downtown for some authentic Montana flavor or sink your teeth into a bison burger at Foster & Logan’s Pub & Grill.

Day 3

Ski at Red Lodge Mountain

Start your morning off right with a classic bacon and eggs breakfast at the local-favorite Prindy’s Place or try their famous Sweet Cream pancakes. Then gear up for another day on the mountain. Grab lunch in the main lodge, or head back to the Midway Chalet—it’s worth the repeat. Après ski, grab a craft cocktail at Marli’s back at the Pollard. For dinner, celebrate your time on the slopes and sit down to an exceptional meal at Prerogative Kitchen—a 2022 James Beard nominee. It’s time for a toast to three days well spent.
