About Flat Iron Outfitting offers the summer visitor a variety of high mountain lakes for some great trout fishing! Most are a 2-hour hike through some of the prettiest country to be found in Montana. If fishing isn't your pleasure, the day can be spent hiking and taking photographs. We offer great hunting for elk, bear and mountain lion hunts on the Lolo National Forest. We also have a private ranch lease that offers some of the best whitetail hunting in western Montana.
