About Western Timberline Outfitters provides excellent guided hunting and fishing trips in northwest Montana. Nestled in the remote wilderness of Lolo National Forest, you can relax and enjoy the great outdoors as only Montana can provide. Hunting: Northwest Montana is fast becoming known as a superior Mountain Whitetail Deer area. The country also abounds with elk, bear, mule deer and mountain lion. Our second unit, located by the Crazy Mountain Range in Big Timber, is 18,000 acres of private ranch land, used primarily for very successful mule deer and antelope hunts. Fishing: Experience the Clark Fork River's beautiful serenity while drifting in a guided fishing boat, or wade about the edge of the many local rivers while casting your line for the fish of your dreams.
