About
Top rated wedding destination and restaurant overlooking Glacier National Park. This iconic great northern train station is located on the southeast corner of Glacier National Park on Highway 2 across from Marias Pass approximately 10 miles from the town of East Glacier Park.
This family owned lodge is one of a kind resort that has 8 newly remodeled cabins, which all include a stellar view of Glacier National Park. We offer private cabin options for solo travelers, couples and families visiting Glacier National Park. The main lodge includes an award winning restaurant and bar with a large deck with view of Glacier National Park. We now have a brand new events center with a large timber frame lodge.
The location is in the heart of world class fly-fishing, rafting and hunting. Sitting a stones throw from Glacier National Park, across the highway from Lewis and Clark National Forest and minutes away from The Great Bear Wilderness and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. All our cabins offer all the amenities a person would require at home and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The owners, Ted and Mara Chase, are known for their Montana hospitality and have provided exceptional service and affordable rates in the area since 1933. Ted Chase is an internationally recognized wildlife photographer and adventurer who continues to explore Glacier National Park on a daily basis. His wife, Marabeth is fluent in Spanish hailing from Guatemala and has found herself right at home in the Rocky Mountains. Mara also creates custom designed leather purses that are available in the gift shop located in the main lodge.
We are here to make your vacation as enjoyable, affordable and stress free as possible. We can also help organize your adventures in Glacier National Park. You can find us www.summitmtnlodge.com
