About Our Timber Framed Guest Cottage is a very sweet little cozy place completely furnished for your comfort. It has one bedroom and a large loft area with another queen bed and two twin beds to sleep up to 6 people total. There is a gas fireplace and large gas grill on the back deck. Bathroom is small but sweet with a claw foot tub to soak in if desired or shower with enclosed curtain. The cottage is located in a very quiet area of town on the edge of an aspen grove and field of wild flowers. It is just one block off the main road through town and is walking distance to a variety of services and shops - restaurants, antiques, golf, groceries, car rentals, Amtrak train station (summer season only), horseback riding, and shuttle services to all hiking tails and lodges within Glacier National Park (summer season only). It can also be a great winter get away if you like to cross-country ski, back-country ski and snowboard. Essex is a 1/2 hour drive that offers miles of groomed cross-country ski trails - classic and skate. The cottage also shares a very large yard with our other rental home right next door. There are yard games to enjoy as well: badminton, croquet, volleyball, soccer, etc. We also have a few bicycles available for your use - 3 adults and 2 children's with helmets if you like. We are in a great location to come and explore Glacier National Park all four seasons. Come relax and enjoy the town of East Glacier Park and the national park while staying in our cottage.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Once in East Glacier Park turn north onto Highway 49 off of Highway 2. Go under the train tracks and continue to drive approximately .5 mile. Landmarks you will pass are Glacier Park Lodge, Mountain Pine Motel and Sears Motel. Take the next left after the Sears Motel onto 2nd Street, take another left onto 4th Avenue. We are 1017 4th Avenue, a cedar shingled 2-story home with a yellow front door and a teal colored roof and trim. Next door is the Cottage, 1.5 story red roof, cedar shingled home. This is your rental! Cedar fence surround the lot.
