Overview Service & Activities
About Poorman Creek offers about 4 miles of fishable stream (averaging 20 feet wide and 10 inches deep), most of which has a high resident habitat suitability. The pool quality, along with instream and bank cover is good. Rainbow trout (up to 9 inches in length) and Dolly Varden (up to 10 inches) inhabit most of the stream. Howard Lake Campground, off-trail hiking into the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, and easy access to several other streams offer additional recreational opportunities in the area.
