About Duck Creek Pass Trail provides scenic views from the Belt Divide, fishing and good access to the lakes, mountains, and trails of the Big Birch Creek Basin are the main attractions. The trail is accessible by four-wheel drive vehicles for approximately 2 miles after leaving the Duck Creek Road. You will need hiking boots and should carry water on this trail. The trail is rated difficult and has medium use. Accessible for use all year. Length: 5.2 miles Trail Begins: Forest Road, Section 5 Trail leaves from Duck Creek Road at top of Duck Creek Pass Trail Ends: Trail Junction Gipsy Lake Trail 150 Area Map: Helena Forest Visitor Map USGS Map1: Mount Edith - Duck Creek Pass Quad Township 8N; Range 4E; Section 5.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Take Highway 12 east from Townsend for 2 miles to Highway 284. Turn north and continue on this road for 11 miles. Turn east on the Duck Creek Road 139. Follow road 139 for 14 miles to Trail 151.
